I have a background in computer and information sciences, with a focus on the use of social media in a variety of political and civic contexts. I am interested in how social media is utilised within these fields, and how the use of such technologies can impact the dissemination of (mis)information, the role of visual media in this communication, and the complex relationships between mainstream and social media.
